Lighting the Luminaries

Girl Scout Troop 11491 has been volunteering with the BSCA since they were Daisy Scouts in 2015. As they progressed through Scout levels

and became Cadettes, they decided to focus on their Cadette Service to the Community pin, which requires 20

hours of volunteer service during the 3 years they are Cadettes. In keeping

with their partnership to the BSCA, the girls work during the holiday season

each year to set up and light the luminaries, clean the jars, and help with the

Christmas Village at the Tree Lighting ceremony.
