Accomplishments

The Boiling Springs Civic Association has contributed to the community since it began in the early 1980’s.

Among the many accomplishments are the following:

• Designing, building and maintaining the gazebo at the lake.

• Designing and placement of the decorative fencing at both ends of the lake.

• Maintaining the flowers and other plantings around the lake.

• Initiating and sponsoring the annual Foundry Day Arts & Crafts Festival.

• Initiating and sponsoring the annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Luminaries.

• Supporting the“Save the Lake” campaign.

• Providing thousands of dollars in scholarship aid to deserving BSHS students.

• Inaugurated annual Labor Day fireworks display (now done through the Bubbler Foundation).

• Donating major portion of the costs for picnic pavilion at Spring Meadows Park.
